Refund Policy

Refunds will only be granted if an applicant from the waiting list can fill the spot held for the participant. Refunds will not be granted after September 30th of each year. Registration is non-transferable and may not be sold to another player. A fifty dollar ($50.00) non refundable administration fee will be applied to all refunds granted.

Refunds will not be granted to teams participating in the AAA tournament once their application has been accepted.

NSF Policy

Immediate payment must be received in the form of cash, certified cheque or money order, in order to guarantee a registration spot in the desired program. There will be a fifty dollar ($50.00) NSF fee charged for any returned cheques.

Discipline Policy

If a participant is being disruptive and refuses to behave, the participant will be asked to leave the ice surface and sent to the dressing room. If this behaviour is within the last ten minutes of a session, the participant will be ejected from the next scheduled session. A participant must apologize to the instructor prior to being allowed to continue in the program. Should a participant need to be removed from the ice three times, the participant will be ejected from the program permanently. No refund will be issued.

Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct identifies the standard of behaviour that is expected of all ICEHAWGz members, including athletes, coaches, parents, and volunteers.

The ICEHAWGz are committed to providing a sport learning environment in which all individuals are treated with respect. Members shall conduct themselves at all times in a fair and responsible manner. Members shall refrain from comments or behaviours that are violent, disrespectful, offensive, abusive, racist or sexist. In particular, conduct that constitutes harassment or abuse will not be tolerated by the ICEHAWGz organizers.

During the course of all hockey activities and events, members shall avoid behaviour that brings disrepute to the organization or to the sport of hockey, including but not limited to abusive or illegal use of alcohol or non-medicinal use of drugs.

Members shall at all times adhere to Hockey Canada, and ICEHAWGz operational and discipline policies and procedures, to rules governing events and activities and to rules governing any competitions in which the member participates on behalf of ICEHAWGz.

Members shall not engage in any activity or behaviour that interferes with a competition or with any athlete’s preparation for a competition, or which endangers the safety of others.

Failure to comply with the Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action in accordance with the policies of The ICEHAWGz. Such action may result in the member losing the privileges that come with membership in our Association, including the opportunity to participate in activities of the The ICEHAWGz.
